Re: Fabbing an exhaust cutout w/ a throttle body (B18Flip)
i knew this would catch on and eventually make sense. it really is the most practical exhaust dump setup no ******* solenoids to break no cables...hell you could use a big wastegate with a v-band yO.

Re: Fabbing an exhaust cutout w/ a throttle body (not so civic)
i thought about this too, but mainly as an exhaust silencer....
I would cut holes in the TB plate so exhaust goes through when it's fully closed, but open it up when i need to.

IMO, the electronic cut outs just make the tuning process more complicated. </TD></TR></TABLE>
biggest waste of money ever, my friend was one of the 1st to run this, it doesn't open all the way or even close all the way and it wasn't even that great, stick with a DHM 3 inch e cutout over the ATP all day

i see your point. never thought of doing that with the holes or restrictors. i liked riding with a silencer since i always use mufflers straight off the collectors and wondered how i could make a bypass but still keep it quieter in normal driving conditions...cp, you should try this since i don't really quite have a honda to work on right now. i guess i can borrow my old all motor hatch i sold to try this on.

It would sound like ****. Like having a hole in a muffler on a geo metro. The back pressure would be bad.
