Default The "Where Can I get" this thread.

Everyday I see another "Where can I find" something thread.

This will be the official thread to ask where you can find something. Please respond with answers and I will later sift through the info and make one giant thread of resources for hard to find parts/components.

Let's get this ball rolling

p.s.

This is NOT a wanted bad thread. Make a post saying "I need XXX, hit me up" and you will be docked points.

This is not also a thread for WHERE CAN I FIND THIS FOR CHEAP.

i had the same problem and made a adapter bracket to bolt the shaft to the sh block from a pice of 1/4 plate steel measured like 4 by5 and measured the holes in the shaft bracket and then tapped those holes then drill the holes is the plate for the block... insert shaft to trans and then slide plate in to be bolted into place.. i was told that it would never work but its been in there for almost 15000 miles and ALOT of dragstrip time and no problems yet...

Where can I get....Or do they make?

The mounts for your Stock or OEM style hoods that can be lifted where the hood meets the windshield.

I've seen it Searching for Pics of cars. It's a JDM style that you don't see here in the US...so I've heard. It creates a sort of Cowl induction by lifting the hood up an inch or two still using your stock hood.

Does anyone klnow if there are any Kits or is it just custom fabrication???

I think I have seen what you are talking about. The car I saw with it just did it his self with longer bolts and washers as spacers. You can't raise it much if you want the latch to still work right.

Ace Hardware/Fastenal. Get longer bolts and a handful of washers and go to town.

JDM? if anything its SoCalDM.

its a metal dowel cut about 3/4 of an inch or however far you want. however be careful, 1 - it looks like **** on ludes, 2 - its easy to break a window (done it myself), however it does let tons of heat out of the engine bay.

If you are talking about the energy suspension ones, they aren't mounts, just inserts. I'm looking for the whole mount.
