Default 35 Nitrous Shot W/Auto Trans

i know i'm gonna get made fun of on here for this, but i'm looking at gettinng a 35-45 shot nitrous kit on my '98, and was wondering if the stock auto trans would hold up. I've heard that a stock ENGINE will hold up to a 75 shot, but i dont know about the trans. List of mods....

S2 I.M
apexi-vafc2
aem cai
dc 4-2-1
race cat
dc sports cat-back
aem power pulleys
aem fuel rail
aem adj FPR

it seems in general the stock tranny has trouble holding up with stock power levels, so i dunno what adding more power to the mix will do

well, i'm putting down about 180whp now, and it holds up great. so what does everybody think? will it hold 215whp with nitrous? I know the stock auto tranny sux, i had to get it replaced under warranty around 75k miles. i only have about 20k on the new tranny.

I don't think you want to take that chance and try to blow the tranny again.

its not worth buying a new transmission for 35 more hp.
But do what you want, if you do get it, get a window switch as well so you dont spray between gears.

The extra torque may be a problem. My car dynoed 42 whp and 65 ft lbs on an NX 35, that might bruise your tranny......

lets you set activation and stop points. Say, on at 2500 rpm, off at 7500 rpm or whatever.
