Nice bike! Good to see another mt. biker(and 1st gen CRV owner) on here.
I just lifted my 2000 CRV and put 215/75/15 General Grabbers on it. Mostly to get some clearence for mt. bike shuttling but I'm pretty happy with how it looks too. Bit more aggressive than your average V. Will post some pics once I get a couple more mods done...

Got the first phase done on the CR-V last night. It rubs a little bit at almost full lock but once I fab up the spacers for the struts they will clear.

Im debating on either making a 2.25" spacer for the rear and a 2" spacer in the front OR getting the 35mm Ironman lift springs and then making a 1.5" strut spacer for the rear and a 1.25" strut spacer for the front.

The springs and the spacers together will give me a 2.75" overall lift. The reason I am not really wanting to just lift it using strut spacers is because the rig will have alot more body roll since the OEM springs have about 2 inches of sag.

Anywayz, here you go!

Just wanted to give you guys the heads up as everyone seems to be on backorder with coil springs. Ordered a set of OME's from Rocky Road Outfitters on 3/29 and got them today. They did ship overseas.

BTW sweet looking V man! I thought those things would be rubbing an lot more on the stock set up. Were those Cragars purchased new or did you pick up some used and buy spacers? The reason I ask is because before I pull the trigger on a set of soft 8's with 6mm offset I was curious why you went with the 8mm's.

Thats good to know. Thanks for the heads up. I was planning on getting the Ironman lift springs from Camel4x4 but I just dont know if I should just order the OME springs and wait for them. I dont really know which ones are better.

They do rub slightly in the front when you make a sharp turn and if you have a couple of people in the back they will rub the rear quarter trim when you hit bumps or if you make a fast turn and the weight shifts to the outside. Its not bad if its just 2 people in the front and a little bit of luggage in the back.

I bought the Cragars new from Summit and I went with the 8mm spacers because thats what the local shop had on hand. If you went with the 6mm spacers you would be fine I'd imagine.

Well damn, if they're not rubbing that bad I can't wait to hear what you have to say after the spring install. BTW hear is the deal with why I went with OME. I phoned to talk to someone at Camel and all I got was some sort of receptionist that told me that the only way I could talk to someone in sales or technical assistance was to my name and number. So a day goes by. I phone again. This time as well it's someone answering with a thick foreign accent (think Apple Support) that tells me the same thing. Finally after talking to the people over at Rocky Mountain I just ordered the things. Later that day I got a return phone call from some guy that said he was the technical/sales rep for Camel. I could barely understand him as well (think Mr. Chow). He told me that he didn't know when Springs would be back in stock (maybe early summer) if they could still get them.

I can't stop looking at your pics. I just can't believe the tire size. Seems like there were so many people who could barely run that size with suspension add-ons and cutting. You must be the lucky one.

Hey guys not to hi-jack a thread but if anyone's interested in a full set of OME springs (BNIB) just let me know. Was going to lift my wife's V too but she's not as thrilled, lol. I think $250 Shipped anywhere in the lower 48 sounds fair. Just pm me with an email addy for pics.
