Default P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

2000 Acura Integra Gsr here..


Can i drive safely with this code on....and what o2 sensor is it? the one on the cat or the header...and how can i tell which one it is....Thanks guys...please reply back

I have the same problem as you. Yea its safe to drive with. Im gonna get it repaired tomorrow.

Is it the front o2 sensor or the back one your replacing?

p0420 is a catalyst code.

You need a new catalytic converter, not an o2 sensor.
