What HT really needs is a wiki.

Any thread in the FAQ should have it's images grabbed and re-stored on the HT server. I'm tired of seeing the regular users tell the noobs, "Look in the FAQ", and when you do, you see threads like this. Pics missing and text below a missing pic that says, "here are some pics to help you out"...

No... I can't see what you did there, the thread is over 5 years old and his image storage account is gone. This isn't the worst I've seen, just reminded me about it.

Rant over. My apologies.
Wow...So right. 2 years later no bump for pics.

This should NOT be in the FAQ if pictures are not provided.

Thats the same problem with me first time I change the fuel pump, but the problem is not the socks/strainer, but vacuum leak by the circled on picture. For proof, when you open your gas tank fuel cap, you not gonna hear the air sucking in. But it might be some thing else, look in HT, there been a thread about that.

I used the sock from the old stock pump and installed it on the walbro. Because the one that came with the walbro was noticeably shorter. Should fix your half tank issues.

Would love to know where i can get a new sock for the stock pump tho

My stock one was soo dirty after using cheap fuel from Sams club, end up need new socks, I just buy mine from NAPA, they sell the cheapest, made by BOSCH. Been a month now, no half tank issue.
