swaps in the new england area charge between $600 and $1000. I'm sure shops that do swaps more often will charge less.... just get some friends together one day and do it in the garage.

yeah i got the 97 spec complete swap. i had to buy placeracing mounts, and hasport cable to hydro conversion kit in order for me to run the itr tranny

usually cost engine price + about 600-700 labor.
anybody know if i can put a b18c5 head on a b18c1, i bent all my valves and im just going to rebuild a little bit stronger. i need some advice

its about 7 to 8 hours of labor, but you have factor in any wiring that has to be done, unless you are including a harness, then they add the labor of adding that in, some places will do it for cheap to add that, since the engine will be out already. Up north they charge about 80 an hour to do a swap, I charge about 350 to 400 depending on what needs to be wired and I hook people up on some stuff.
