<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Stealthman80 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">what inpedence are the bose speakers in the 93 accord se?</TD></TR></TABLE> Not sure about a 93 Accord , but I have found that the amped speaker, [an amp for each speaker in the same housing] are I think .6 ohms, on the newer Bose systems, [one amp for all the speakers] they are 4 ohm, you can check them with an multimeter or DVM, it will give you the electrical impedance of the VC at rest, and will be close to what Bose would say they are, that goes for all speakers, if you test a speaker and the meter says 3.75 ohms it's probably called a 4 ohm speaker, and if you look at speaker specs. the electrical impedance is very seldom the same as what it is designated as, eg. the JL 12W0 sub comes as a SVC 4 or 8 ohm speaker the "DC resistance" on the 4 ohm is 3.86 ohms and the 8 ohm is 6.43 ohms, so if you put a meter to the Bose you will get a very good idea of what they are 94

ok I got my stereo installed at sutureshop and the front are 4 ohm, but the bose fronts sound crap compared to my infinitys, Im gonna change the fronts anyways
