This page just saved me from buying b17 cams instead of ITR's...
Honda-Tech can be really freakin gay w/all the lil teen ricers who think they know everything, but it sure has some good info if you can filter through all the crap and BS posts.

yup i got ripped on the 96 gsr cam awhile back if you search my post i kept trying to explain how they looked different but they matched the description everyo0ne was trying to explain to me....

so i have 3 sets of cams laying around now. i just need to refresh my mind as to which is which because i forget now. ive read all the threads with pics, but i still can figure out which is which. theres got to be a way to determine by the stamp on them
i think my ITR's are stamped with "G" on both cams. correct me if im wrong.
i have a set that has "J" stamped on the exhaust side and "K" stamped on the intake side
i also have a set with "C" stamped on the exhaust side and "B" stamped on the intake side
i know one set are b16 cams and the other is GSR....any help to decipher which is which is appreciated

i think these pictures of the cam ends make it super simple to decipher.
if you want to make it easier on yourself, figure out what you have and then mark on them with a dab of paint. that way you'll personally know the difference between your ITR, GSR, and B16 cams.

I agree... I guess the best way to me in not to buy used cams... Even if I though I had what I thought I had, in the back of my mind I'd still think I was scammed... I'm goig to buy new after market to know that I am not being scammed into buy cams that aren't the cams they are suppose to be...

i think this helps a little bit for me. trying to identify 98 us itr cams. the pics seem to only show intake side. and some others look the same.
mine do not seem to have any letter marking. are they supposed to?
