i think i'm going to weld in my own baffle, and place the 2 -10an vents right in front of a cam bearing cap just to be safe on the oil slinging from the cams

I have read this a few times and believe I have this correct. I just want to run it past you to make sure...
![]() Thanks in advance for the yes or no go on the setup.

I realize this may be an old post to many but its very new to me. I have redone my drawing and am almost positive this is the correct setup after reading the [i]entire[i] thread yet one more time.
As far as the return being at the bottom of the catch can: wouldn't that defeat the entire purpose of trying to "catch" the oil/contaminets and just drain it back in... Anyways here is the plan in motion for my setup, please advise if something is ass backwards. ![]() Like I said I'm pretty confident on this now but after reading this post like 5 times I have a really bad headache and would just like to make sure all is well

Quick question, see if this is okay.
Remove black box. Plug the hole where the black box was. Remove the hex bolts and install new Honda fittings. Run hose from the two fitting and point it at the ground. Put breather on valve cover. Run wastegate line to the open nipple on intake manifold. I'm just trying to figure out how to eliminate the use of a catchcan. |

i got a question about blocking off the breather box. i called endyn and asked if they sold the plug seperately and they told me they get them from orielly dorman # 555-104. but they are steel. so is it a bad idea to use that part or should i just go ahead and order the aluminum one from z10?

When using the slashcut exhaust method and using a sealed catchcan off the block, does (1) the catchcan need to be baffled? and (2) does the placement of it in the engine bay matter (when using a vented catchcan its gotta be as high up as possible-does this apply to the unvented or can it be placed wherever)?

Would I benefit at from doing this:
Run a line from the former pcv spot on valve cover to a nipple on the catch can. Run the other line from the nipple on the catch can to the breather box on back of block. Then run a line from the ventilation nipple on the valve cover into a slash cut tube on the waste gate. My car is really lacking space and everything is super tight under the hood. I am looking for the easiest way to offer some ventilation w/o contaminating my intake charge and turbo. I also do not want to run the slash cut tube into my downpipe. I have a sealed catch can and the valve cover from a 99 Integra LS, so the pcv is in the valve cover. W/O welding nipples on the front of the valve cover and w/o using the freeze plugs to replace the oem box, what are my options? Sorry is some of this sounds like it does nto make sense, i am a tad jumbled from reading so many pages of info and all after working all day. Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm curious to know if anyone else with the downpipe slashcut method is noticing excessive smoking only when idling after the car has been warmed up. I know its gonna smoke and I could care less, but I thought that the smoking would be during WOT not during idling.
