PasswordJDM is touting that their new intake gives such gains on a near stock B16A. They show a dyno graph but I'm still skeptical, was there a dead rodent in the stock intake pipe or what? I thought intakes were good for a hp or two but mostly sound and throttle response. Please don't turn this into a debate over which intake is best, that would be silly and redundant. I am just curious about PWJDM's claims on this and if it's even possible

I drive a Sol so even the EG one might not fit so don't feel bad. On the topic of EF's (that's right- I'm threadjacking my own thread), most I see are hatches and CRX's- are most of the parts (not body stuff obviously) transferable to the EF sedans? I always wanted one and it'd be fun to drop an old B16 in one, hubcaps and all.

if you're talking about the j's racing copy one they have, then the 5hp might be a little high. i got the sportcompactonly j's copy and am very pleased. i have a b16 in my sol and had no problem fitting the EG one in my engine bay. my top end was greatly increased for just an intake, guessing maybe 3-4hp over my old 2.25" short ram pipe w/k&n. if you want the SCO intake, they are/were running a special for $50 shipped for HT members, check the sponsors section.
