aren't you supposed to NOT use a wrech when putting on the filter? i never have and i never have had leaks. i've done dozens of oil changes before.
ima put the next one on by hand cuz im just buff like that

o ok, now i know
alright i fixed the problem and i drove to my friends house and im gettign the same smoke i had the other night.
could it just be the excess oil burning off?
everything seems normal, no oil light, no spills

Could very well just be oil burning off your header and exhaust.
