I have a set of Tein SS for an RSX with the Pillow Ball upper mounts on my Civic which does see a lot of track time in the summer. The spring rates it comes with are 8k front and 10k rear. My question is, would I see any benefits to going with 10k fronts and 12k rears. Tein says that these are the max spring rates for this suspension.

DO you like it the way it is? YOu could try it if you have $ to burn or just want spares. The springs for MacPherson aren't the same diameter front to rear are they? then you would only need to buy 2. I can do this with the eibachs for my EG cuz they're the same diameter...

Make your springs as soft as you can while ensuring that the car does not bottom (shocks or chassis). The lower you go, the stiffer your springs should be in general.

So the answer depends on the rest of your setup (ride height, tires, etc.). From what I hear about Tein rebound damping (especially at high speed) bumps are going to be so stiff that 10k vs. 12k doesn't matter. I agree that if you can afford, both springs that you should try em out without changing anything else.
