You shouldnt need one - compression controls the unsprung weight, and once its set you shouldnt have to worry about it. "set it, and forget it!"

Would it be worth it to Dyno test my KW V2?

I am thinking about selling them, and curious what state they're in... and/or getting them revalved and see what they're supposed to be like. I read that Koni-na did revalving of other brands, anyone actually done this? what's the price on that usually?

I'd be interested in seeing it just to see how the Euro stuff compares (KW is primarily for VW/BMWs, right?).

Are the Koni Specials the SPPS or whatever? If they are, check out the bottom of page 2.

Any particular reason you say that? They shouldn't be much different from the RA dynos already posted, except I would expect lower damping forces.

Most of the JDM coil-overs have little to no adjustment range. Besides, I would hope they are very different. Aren't the RA's like twice the price of the SS?

Keep in mind that we don't know which side is compression and which side is rebound unless specifically stated. I've seen graphs with rebound on bottom and bump on top, and vice versa....

My understanding that the only major difference between Tein coilovers was the base damping rate. Construction I believe is similar. RAs should have higher damping forces than the SS, just because it is meant for higher spring rate applications.

Tein can get away with charging more, 'cause "stiff coilovers are mad tizzite yo!"

I know there are a few people (who seem well-informed) who bag on the Teins often (SS and HA specifically). However, I haven't heard any fact-based information on why this is. If there is some technical information I don't know about, I would be really interested in hearing. I would be especially interested if the DA coilovers dyno more favorably than the Teins.

Actually for $700 I got all four DA Koni 80 series revalved with good compression and digressive low speed tuning on both the rebound and compression. That is only $200 more and you get low speed tuning added to compression and a decent compression range.

In my experience Koni will do anything that you ask them to. I also heard that Koni has started making the 80 series widely available with digressive tuning. Talk about a damper for the masses
