how can you tell if a ecu is a automatic or standard i have a p30 ecu

YES, I can finally share my research with someone.
To answer your question, look at the code on the ECU/ECM, If the last two digits are 50 and up (for example: ..-A53), then its an automatic.

Please correct me if Im wrong.
I noticed that the first sequence (5 digits) is identical for all Honda/Acura cars, so it doesnt do much.
The second sequence (3 digits) tell us what engine the ecu goes with.
The third sequence (3 digits) tell us what transmission it goes with.
I still dont know that the big letters (AWL, ARM, etc..) or the rest of the numbers stand for.
