LOL, there isn't much of a kit. I mean, the fitting is all up to you. And the wiring has to be done by you, unless you want to fly me over

thank you for making this write up, I just put a 98-01 ls cluster into my 96 civic and followed your instructions. The only problem I had was the cruise light would not come on but then I realized that maybe the ls didnt have a cruise option and so there is no light for it. Is this correct? Is there a simple way to add a cruise light? Thanks again for the write up, I finally have a working speedo again!!!

The LS should have a cruise light. You need to splice the red/blue wire from the green cruise Civic plug with an unused wire pin (pink for washer fluid light) and stick it in D5. It works, I did it in my friend's EX.

where is the cruise light located on the integra cluster? If its supposed to be in the lower left then I definantly dont have one. you know I said its an ls but I really dont know, its a 98-01 for sure, redlines about 7k. maybe an rs? sorry I dont know much about integras.

btw: there are actually no unused wires available for me as I dont have a wire for washer fluid. I had tried using the seat belt wire instead just because that light didnt matter to me.

RS never came with cruise. You can add it by buying a bulb and socket as well as the lower left icon triangle.

Don't think you can buy it separately from the bezel.

Is it possible to put a 91 integra ls cluster into a 93-95 civic coupe? I'm sure it is, but I can't seem to find any diagrams on how to do it, and this seems to be a decent place to ask such a question.

Wrong thread. There are a lot of factors why your VTEC could not be working.

I ran wires from the door sensors to the wires of the door ajar lights on my EG6 cluster. You can do the same. It's not that far.

do where exactly is this wire? near the door ajar sensor? but dont you want to the door sensor to detect driver and passenger side? if you only do one side it only senses one side right?

The door sensor only has one wire coming from it. I ran wires from both sensors to different wires on the door ajar lights. Of course, you only have one light, so I'd run both wires. Have both of the wires connect to the door ajar icon.

Wire colors are probably the same. Match them up.

is the fuel gauge going to be accurate? My car felt like it was getting low on fuel (gets hard to start when the tank is almost empty) but the integra cluster indicated I still had 1/4 tank left. Looking at the specs the integra has a 13.2 gallon fuel tank while my 96 civic has a 11.9 gallon tank. I would think this would throw the gauge off, has anyone experienced this or driven until the integra cluster indicated empty?

It's just a gauge receiving a signal from the fuel sender, nothing else. The gauge doesn't know how big the tank is.

I will hook up my autometer tach to see if it does it on that. thanks in advance.
i have a 1992 Civic CX hatch 5 spd with a 97 integra auto cluster i didnt hook up the gear wiring just everything else.

Yes you're right. It's off by roughly 1/4 tank. When I fill up, it will be 1/4 tank above F for ~100 miles, then come down as I drive more. When the car is completely empty I'm about an 1/8th tank above E. I almost thought about seeing if the needle could be pulled off and reset on there at a different angle, but I didn't want to mess it up.

thanks for the info, I was thinking the fuel needle was off some. Its not a huge deal to me as I usually go by the odometer anyway but Ill have to remind anyone that drives my car not to let it go below 1/8. Could just physically moving the needle back some fix it or would the needle actually have to be taken out and moved to the left and then put back in? Or could just the cluster fuel guage be swapped over and use the integra needle? or use an integra fuel sender? I hope there is a solution.

>>silvergt I havent had the problem you are describing but we do have different cars and clusters.

You can't just move the needle, you will mess it up. I did it to my old cluster, and it's not working since then. So you have to take out the needle very careful and put it back on.

An ITR cluster in an EK looks sick. I'm gonna do this.
