***problems with timing belt(need help quickly as i need this car on monday morning)
quick question, ok i took timing belt out of 95 civic dx and replaced it. i aligned the marks, up was up and 2 side marks were flush with head and bottom mark lined up with inside cover notch, took belt off put new belt on nothing "seemed" to move and car did start up no problem and ran well from what i could see but when i took it for a test drive it feels like it has no power and if it sits idling for a bit 2 to 3 minutes i have to rev it just to get it to move. im assuming that bottom gear moved (crank) as i checked the top gear and it was lined up right. i put it back together in the reverse of taking it apart. im stumped and could use some help as far as where to start to look for prob. im guessing that the belt is off its the only thing i can think of. is there a way to tell this with out taking the whole thing apart and if i have to where can i get a good picture of how to line up the crankshaft correctly thanx for your help later now

You shouldnt need a timing light unless for some reason you moved the distributor. Check your marks again make sure the mark on the crank pully us on the middle mark(TDC) and the cam is lined up properly.

there are four marks on the crank pulley. 3 together, and a white one set off about 1.5 inches from the rest. TDC is the white mark that you are supposed to line up with the timing light mark on the belt cover. then alight your cam gears accordingly. you use the red mark (in the middle of the 3) for your dizzy timing. MAKE SURE you have you jumper where the ecu is jumped so your car automatically ready 0 degrees.
