Re: parts for zc engine (r30slick)
not to put anyone down that is into the import trend but I got a bit of advice for ya
I have been working on honda/Acura motors for the past 10 years and don't even waste your time or money on a ZC , you would have better luck with a fresh sohc d16 either Vtec or non -vtec
I know the reason ur doing it becasue it's cheap right?
yeah thats what i guessed , well they are old , not enough power gain and just plain a waste, I have been to the track and seen guys with all this money in their ZC motors and are slower than when i used to run the SOHC in a 91 si
their are some people that can get them going but If you can save the money for an LS or GSR
I don't like the b16 either and think for a street strip car that is daily driven the Ls is much better than a B16 anyday stock to stock or even a mod. b16 VS a stock ls
but if you can spend the money You can't go wrong with a GSR
I just thought u might want to think about it
I have no idea why some people are stuck on wanting a B16 or a ZC?
other than their cheap
