![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us a 2" square tubing fits in the rear lca and then weld tabs on to bolt your shock back to. tack weld the new riser to lca and then drill a hole and put the factory bolt back in. i have been running these for 6 months and had zero issues. they can be made in all different sizes. and you can keep your oem ride comfort. i am running tein ss coilovers for an integra type r the front can be made with two sections of pipe. get one that fits over the bottom of the shock and weld a smaller diameter pipe inside that fits in side the front fork. if you or your buddy have a welder this can be done in a few hours and cost less than 20 bux and you can raise as high as you like |

Hi. Im new to the CRV crew. Im loving this thread tho! Ive have 2 lofted Dodge trucks and been around the offroading crowd for about 12 years now. But after moving to Denmark from the USA, im driving a bit smaller car than my 06 cummins diesel ram with 9 inches of lift and 39" tires. This is where my 1997 CRV comes in......
It is totally stock owned by retired folks so ot was the perfect cheep car for us here. And i love the 5 speed and interior space it has plus the AWD and good milage. Most people here drive VW Polos etc. Lol. But my stock tires are shot. And as usual im looking to go up as high as i can with lifting this suv (in the future im sure). So its either 225/70 or 215/75s for me on the stock 15inch wheels. Im ok with a tiny little rubbing but it cant be tearing the tires apart. We carry no load in this thing and its 90% street car used on the weekends. Whats better for my situation? Does anyone have pocts comparing the 215 and 225 on a stock crv with stock wheels? Can i use a small spacer to kick the wheels out a bit and solve the rubbing wih the 225? I have read alot and seen many people say these tires will work but i havent seen many picts... Thanks alot. Joe E. Oh and these lifted crvs are just sweet looking! Congrata to yall running them!

I lifted my crv about a year and a half ago because of this post and id love to show it off to you guys who would probably appreciate it more than me since im a chevy truck guy, I can hardly work a computer let alone putting up pics. if some one could tell me id be glad to post pics of my 99crv 3" ironman lift 30x11.5 swampers, custom tubular bumper, tow hooks, CB and PA equipped and thrush exhaust. just a bunch of spare crap for over the year working at my shop. If rednecks jacked up crvs it would look like mine. I am a little bit of a southern country boy my self

also If you guys who are really into your crvs i was talking to my buddy the other day and making drop down brackets to the upper and lower control arms and extensions to the forks on the end of the struts, since the axle runs thru them, isn't entirely impossible. Minus the small engine and stress on components a rear solid axle swap or bigger support tube in the rear isn't unimaginable. there's always a possible VW diesel swap. I love seeing cars built above and beyond their intended use

My 30" swampers are bald as hell. Im thinking about attempting 33" duratracs since that red crv from nebraska looks so nice! im sure they will ride better then my swampers too. What do yall think about stacking 3" spacers on top of my 3" ironman lift? would the lower control arms be stretched to far? My steering's already gone to **** so im not worried about that. im thinking a small T3/T4 turbo to make up for the power issuse. any thoughts?
