The one on the left is the stock halogen bulb. One the right is the 4500k HID bulb.

Unless you spend time to do retro there is no other option and there are some bulbs you can get that do just as good. My headlights have been realy dim since the day I bought the car so I might just go HID so I don't have to F with it. You think it wouldn't be that hard for manufacturers to make decent replacement housing but I don't think anyone has tested them. Most I think are made by ANZO.

just get some headlight bulbs so you can see **** in front of you ie deer, skunks, little children.. if you want hid's go buy a bimmer or something

its not hard, take the bumper off and look inside. you should be able to see where you need to cut.
Just dont cut everything out like some poeple do and screw your bumper up.

I got a head/fog set off eBay that included instructions on how to cut your fascia for fogs. Haven't done it yet (f'n lazy!) but I'll try to post up here for ya.

ok so i got my HID kit today n me and my friend tried to install them but somthing was wrong
the stock bulb had 3 prongs on it...and the HID(h4) bulb only had two and the conector needed 3 and it showed 3 in the instrustions and everything..i bought 6khids....idk if i ****ed up or what but if anyone knows wat went wrong can u hit me up asap!!! i want them installed already its driving me crazy!!!

Thats fine. The 3rd prong is only for the high beams.

Connected ground to ground, then plug the second into one of the 2 left over ports. Turn it on, if it doesnt, switch it over.

i bought 6k h4 HIDs
i went to install them and the stock bulb had 3 prongs and the hid bulb only had 2..the connector for the hids needed 3..it had 3 slots for the bulb to go into...(im a newb if u dnt understand wat im sayng ask me n ill try explaining it) anyways..since there was only 2 prongs on the bulb and the connector needed 3 the lights werent working..not enough energy was being transfered or somthing...did the manufactor send me the wrong ones??? or did i mess up? anyone know of anything

Do you have your hid's have hi beams?

Stick them in and see if they turn on.

it only has 2 prongs because you lose high beam functionality with most cheap drop in hid kits.

I have hids in my car. Just bought them threw them in. They work awesome no glare and they shine down and out. Plus my cars lower than half the cars on the road anyway so I dont think i bother anyone

you do, trust me. i've seen drop in hids in both eg's and ek's. light output and the glare is awful.
