How's it going guy's? I was a member of the DSM world for quite a few years and now I'm getting into Honda's. I'm starting with a 95 civic coupe that I'm swapping a H22 into and hopefully a K-swap soon enough. Thanks for having me on the site! Hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hey All , New Member and Owner Of a 87 Prelude 2.0 SI Auto Odometer shows 181K Miles , Bought it for my lady to drive back and forth to work , Previous owner says it has a vacuum leak which is causing a rough Idle , I have not tired to find any vacuum leaks yet , but it does have a rough idle and surging while in gear at a stop , I bought the car for a fair price I think , all power windows and sunroof work , has the original wheels-missing 2 center caps , and only thing that is not stock is the radio/speakers and the muffler , The AC Compressor is locked up which is not a major concern as It will probably need to be converted to the R-134 anyways , My Main issue with the car is the idle/surge it has and the original paint has faded down to the primer/base color , Glad to be here and will make a Intro thread with a pic and post what I did here about the issue's .

Hello, all. This is weird for me, I have driven only V8 Camaros and Trans am from age 16 until 39. I wanted lower payments, lower maintenance, better gas milage. But no sacrifice of fun... After driving my wife's 08 Accord vtec 4 cylinder and my buddy at work's 06 civic si coupe, I decided to look into new civic si's. I bought a 2014 civic si coupe and really like it, and have a few performance questions... My buddy owns an exhaust shop and owes me a system cat back... I do not know what brand muffler and such to put on this kind of car that will free up some horses and make the exhaust louder, but without the "fart can" sound I have heard on other cars... Any suggestions?

Also, a bit confused about the air intakes... I think one that connects and uses the factory ram air up to the performance box and into the mandrel bent pipe to the engine would be best? Any preferred brand there?

Joined to attempt to get some help with my 2004 Honda Pilot that broke the timing belt with 50,000 miles since it was replaced at 100,000 maintenance. I would love to be referred to a thread that may help. I am being quoted $2500 to repair, worst case scenario assuming valves are bent, replace head gasket and machining. I can have a used motor with 103,000 on it dropped in for about the same price according to the shop. Does this seem legit?

Hello Eric, nice to know youre willing to help if possible .My honda civic 1.6i ES 1998 refuses to start since I inserted the RED key ,and tried to start it (BIG MISTAKE!) Checked everything ,all ok, and will run (2/3 seconds) if I put petrol down the air intake .Voltage present at each of injectors ,but they are not opening, due to lack of earth signal from emu, presumably. Can it be reprogrammed using the red key? I think the immobiliser has been disconnected, hence it turns over petrol pump and spark present.I can as a test ,earth the injectors ,hear it click open ,and hear fuel going in. Any ideas or info would be very welcome. Many thanks ,KEITH.
