I have a Honda civic ek hatch (2100lbs)with a 97 b18c5 in it. I was wondering what parts I would need and what would cost be to run 11s all motor.

11 seconds is moving...esp without turbo or nitrous. Good luck, even with a total high compression rebuild top to bottom

OP are we talking 11.00 or 11's as in 11.xx? Do you want to stay B or are you open to K series?

You need to do some weight reduction and maybe put close to 10k into the motor without a tune.

I only say that money isn't a prob because I am not trying to build this in one day. its going to be a long project but thanks for the help on the build troll.

Nitrous. Lots of nitrous! 11's all motor could be doable with a fat stack of cash into a build and a lot more weight removed.

11 sec all motor b series in a ek is do able....seen it with numerous cars already..stock sleeve b20 v on 85mm piston with 13:1 comp with a mild built head and cams with the right bolt on also...11sec with a b motor is do able.

yeah, 11's all motor with no exhaust on a b18c5 is possible..



but it means the only thing about it that is still honda parts engine-wise is the block and the head. more than likely no exhaust and not driven with any frequency..

sleeved block, stroker kit, cnc head with big cams and good intake and exhaust setup. itll do it.

I don't see 10,000 dollar engine build going on there.. Still retains lots of oem honda parts no big dollar pieces in the build besides the ported head maybe! here it sounded like it would be a merricle to get a b-series into the 11's on a budget lol..

Ive seen plenty b18 on a budget running 11, no need for strocker kits or sleveed blocks
