What is this noise I heard today?
Hi, so I was driving and suddenly, after drying my car around locally running some errands, I heard a noise that sounded like machinery running. I thought it was the near by factories or warehouses I was passing. However, after leaving the vicinity of these warehouses, I kept hearing the noise. It will only come up when driving and or accelerating. When car was idle at a traffic light, the noise would stop. I pulled over into a parking lot and checked the car. Nothing out of the ordinary. When I started to drive again. The noise was gone.
The noise seemed to be coming from the front right side of the car. I had my windows down so when passing cars that were parked on the right, the noise of course would be amplified. It sounded like it could have been coming from the front right wheel.
What could this be? I drove it it mile back to my home but the noise had stopped.
Just some weather facts. It's about 80 degrees warm outside I had the air conditioner on. When driving back home the AC was off.

post a video if you can... first hand descriptions or events that may or may not be substantiated are difficult to diagnose from afar.
specially since my idea of a factory... or warehouse, might be completely different that your idea of a factory... or warehouse.

Yes, more specifics on the noise would be appreciated. Clunking? Grinding? Whining? Ticking? Screeching?
Lots and lots of noises out there, and it's virtually impossible to come up with a good idea based off of "sounded like machinery running."
Any other symptoms besides the noise? Did anything feel different when the noise was there?
