Re: Illicit Forged and Strada Ind..
Fixed the photo issue, I was promised on the way to honda day to have a working tracking number and nothing...lol might need to finally take a trip over there. I stopped 2 people from buying illicit already so just trying to keep this going.

It is a dam shame this stuff happens.
Any part over $300 that I spend, I go out of my way to purchase it in person.
Hope Paypal can do something for you. And thanks for the heads up.

I'm sorry to hear about this.
It's just another reason that I never send anything as a gift.
Period.
Even if I know them personally as a friend, I pay the measly 3% to cover my ***.
I hope that this all gets handled in the end for you OP.

It doesn't matter if it was sent as a gift or not, I've done plenty of transactions both ways! However, for buyer protection DO NOT SEND AS A GIFT; OR DISPUTE A GIFT ASAP!! What matters most is the deterioration of mankind - man to man person to person, the betrayal. Shameful. Guys such as this make it harder and harder for small shops to succeed. Ripping someone off is completely out of the question! Doesn't need to happen ever.
I know some transactions have hiccups, some people walk away sour or with a bad taste, but you never take someones money and don't deliver. I can't understand the mindset of those people. If your product is in BETA let the customer know, If you have to fill a group buy let the customer know. Even if your in the GB/Beta phase, wait til your 50% complete before requesting a deposit. If your at 90%, it's logical to ask for payment in full but if your thinking about a design forget it! Don't take a dime.
Sorry to here the stories....I hope he/them surface and handle their business responsibly.

Re: Illicit Forged and Strada Ind..
Well heres a small update, I called Jay at Strada. He did admit its not done but told me it only needed to be buffed...well that should be a 1 day thing but who knows maybe he does it by hand? lol He said he would call me when its ready to be picked up....Now to Illicit apparently its striking a nerve with Michael Gonzales. He ended up writing my boss last night with a tracking number demanding things to be removed from the interwebs. Why? who knows maybe I'm messing up business and he realizes he's gonna be stuck working at papi's taco shop forever. Anyways when we checked the tracking its for ONE BOX, its 22x17x17 and weighs 23lbs....im no idiot. Thats front wheels only...if it is indeed wheels. So we shall see what happens with it. I will not remove anything until something is taken care of. If he thinks I'm done, he's wrong and can call my bluff. Every day that goes on I reach out further and further. Its gone viral on Facebook, I've contacted many big names and small shops international and domestic and am going further but will refrain from saying so its a surprise to him. Those of you who know him, tell him good luck cause I told him what I was going to do before I posted a single thing online. Im keeping my word.

So I got a tracking for wheels....something is fishy about it. Says 22x17x16 and only 23lbs...doesnt seem like a set to me.
