I saw specs in this thread for the Civic Wagon manual trans gear ratios, but I didn't see any for the CRV. Anybody have the gear ratios for the CRV? Is it anything like the Integra LS trans? Just wondering how the revs are through the gears and on the highway.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the gearing is a little higher than the Integra LS. There's a guy on eBay selling a CRV trans that looks like it has gears from a B16 trans, carbon synchros, and a custom fitted OBX LSD if anyone was interested.

Gentlemen, does somebody know if this kind of self-made system is able to work? How to place it in so small gear house? There are oil pipes or combination of borings in body? Thank you in advance.

I also have a crv I want to go AWD but I keep hearing it's no use because of the rear axles or shaft that keeos going when racing tbem. Does the 03 crv rear axles and diff setup work better or is it the same result and they snap or brake all the time? Really want to k ow before I start Investing into it

Congratulations, You just started searching the web and you've found the key to break an axle!
The snapping axle phenomenon is more common when things in the Honda differentials are welded, or using a Wagon (RTSI) stuff (different ratios), harder bushings, etc.
We rarely heard of a snapped axle in my country, my own set is a rusted to death, but still no play or any signs to give up.
CRV 2nd gen rear axles are slightly longer but not thicker. Looking at 3rd gen more of the same stuff. Not the one to say how much longer exactly. Look for rear track width for each vehicle and make you assumptions.
Be advised, if you lower the vehicle you may need a slightly longer axles to compensate the new operational angles under load.
With the Diff side, You can save all the biting hustle,
by using a newer model rear diff, I think all Honda 2005 (or was it 2008?)+ to 2012 models use an improved rear diff. and is fairly bolt on plug and play affair, Honda Pilot is a good bet.
D(from European HR-V), B and K series engines rear diffs have all the same gear ratio (as is the same rear diff (HR-V internally identical with +4 bolts)). I wouldn't suspect if the ridgeline too.
you can place a D series LSD and use Hybrid inner cv joint for some more fun, but for the love of metal, don't weld anything and don't expect all the power to go to the back.
Honda guys made it reliable, designed as help for ladies with no knowledge why winter tyres exists at all.
