Default RSX header on EP3?

Im looking to get a K tuned exhaust for my ep3 and it only bolts up to an RSX header, if I used an aftermarket header for an RSX will it work on my EP? I have heard people saying the problem is the rex header won't bolt up to the ep3 exhaust but if Im changing that will there be any issues?

Thanks. Im an EP3 newbie.

been covered about 1,000,000 times....the k20a2/z1 has higher compression...so the gasses comming out the heads are hotter....so the cat was moved farther down stream.....so the cat is longer and the mid pipe is shorter.....so there is not way you can just bolt up a type-s header to an ep mid pipe...

fyi....no kpro...your ecu will flip out when your secondary o2 sensor burns up(because there is no cat) and dump fuel...you will run very rich and your milage will be carp.

yeah you have to modify exhaust to make it work. Or use full RSX-S exhaust system, I believe I read that all bolts up the same.
