No. Don't buy a modified car. Especially not one that looks like an aborted Autobot. You're getting someone else's problem. Also, unless you're in Hawaii or on an island, that few of miles doesn't make sense. For your first car, there are cheaper and better vehicles.

What would you recommend for me?

I've actually seen worse for the money..many of the parts listed you can remove if you want to as well as remove any of the other body parts.

it isn't bad for what it is, but the important thing is to have the engine checked out by a certified mechanic before purchasing.

Yea, I am really tempted to buy this. Also the guy selling this car even included a car fax which usually does happen. 15k miles on body and about 30k on engine doesn't seem bad. Also what should I check for when checking the car out?

Well, first, I'm not entirely married to the Honda brand. Second, I don't know how old you are, or anything about you. What I do know, is that this is your first car, and you're eyeing a $7500 price range. Personally, assuming you're young (under 20), and would like a Honda, I'd recommend something like an EP3 Civic Si. The 2004 or 2005 years can be had for about that, with low miles. Importantly, they make excellent daily drivers, they have plenty of room, and they're safe. You can find plenty of mods, and you can make it your own.

That's my informed opinion. Preludes are great, and fun, but for your first and only car, a wildly modified one isn't a great idea.
