Default DA9 B18A1 Radiator Removal

Trying to replace my radiator fan which is on the radiator. I have a service manual but it doesn't explain how to remove it. Mostly just wanna know what bolts and things have to be removed. Thanks.

Drain a little bit of coolant. Remove the upper rad hose from the rad ONLY and tie it out of the way. Unplug the electrical connector. Remove the two bolts at the top of the fan shroud. Fan will now lift up and out of the engine bay.

Thanks, I was able to remove the fan itself. I'm having another problem tho that maybe someone can help. The connection on the old Rad fan is circular and on the new fan its a rectangular shape. Is there a way to swap or maybe find a type of connector converter?

Pop the pins out of the connectors on both fans, then re-insert the pins on the new fan into the old round connector. The pins are just a "click" fit inside the connector.

If you look closely at the pins inside the connector, you should find tiny spring-tabs that can be depressed with a safety-pin or other device, allowing the pins to slide easily out the rear of the connector.

If the new fan is aftermarket and its pins are different than the holes in the old round connector, then you'll need to cut the wires on the old and new fans and swap the entire connector, wires and all. Reconnect the wires with crimp-connectors or solder and shrink tubing.
