Default Slave cylinder?

Occasionally with clutch down I cannot get into or out of gear. Maybe once or twice a day so far. Release and press again and shifts smooth. I had similar problem with my 95 Prelude and the slave solved it. Dealer inspection noted dirty fluids including clutch and brake. Clutch bites hard enough to bark into 2nd and 3rd. New slave is only $88 and they will be flushing it anyway.

Thoughts?

Get one, do the Check Valve Delete, and be happy.

Dropped it off at the Honda dealer and got my first loaner car :-)
Sadly it's a Ford Fusion and I hate it.

Getting clutch slave AND master replaced. He reminded me of having to replace the master in my 95 Prelude just a few months after I did the slave because now that the bottom holds pressure it sends it back up top and blows out those seals too. Total should barely crest $500. The master on the prelude alone cost me $600 installed.

Details on check valve delete? I love free mods.

If you are having the dealer do the replacement, the CVD is not for you.

I turn wrenches, but not willing to risk doing it wrong, plus now I have a warranty. Speed of repair is paramount.
