I DID IT! AC Compatible 3.5 inch up pipe! Thanks to the help of my buddy Rory. Hammered oval pipe to 3.5 inch with plenty of clearance of everything

Heat wrap will retain moisture causing the galvanized to corrode even faster, especially at the welds where you've removed/damaged the galvanized coating.

still don't understand the point, if there even is one lol.

I want as little back pressure as possible actually. Itll get cleaned up some later. This is for my $1000 budget 350 whp or bust build. Guess ht doesnt like budget build anymore what a shame oh well. Either way still better then running a 2.25 inch or less downpipe

There's a good way to do it on a budget, and then there's...what you're doing. Running open up pipe, with a TRACTOR flap, on a DD car, is the kind of **** that makes people hate "Honda kids".

I will vouch for the tractor flap not being a good idea.

I have a Baja bug that I 'daily'. Well, I use to. Anyways, I had a stinger exhaust and a tractor flap. Did not work well. For me I just curved the tip down. You're issue is a little bit more complex.

I think a 2.5" downpipe with either a bumper exit or a more traditional exit would be better. You can tell the outlet on the turbo is about 2.5". I'm not sure that you'll be seeing huge gains with a 3.5" pipe coming off of that. At least, that's what I've seen while I was searching. My Garret has a 2.5" flange and I ran a 2.5" downpipe because of that.

Please say that your not going to use an intercooler and just directly connect the intake to the turbo.
