Default Parachute mount and location

ok so I've been searching around for a parachute mount fir a while now with no such luck I want a removable setup I don't want it permeant I can't seem to find what I'm looking for I'm looking for one that bolts into the tube. Like this one would be perfect

2nd where is the most ideal location for the anchor line? Higher the better?

Obviously too high could be a bad thing. I would think centerline of gravity would be optimal, but thats just my logical guess.

That style looks like a trailer hitch. Believe it or not jegs has a nice kit that you can use or just make it yourself. Make the bottom tether section came out of the center of the bumper and make it removable. Then the parachute mount can be off the license plate section, so your trunk is still functional too

I had one fabbed that looks pretty close to the one you have in the pic but the chute mount is up higher and the bar going to the chute mount itself is set back farther and bends twords the back of the car instead of away, kinda hard to explain, I dont have pics of it on the car on this comp, but I'll try to get one in a bit when I go down to work on it, if you think that might help. Only pic I have on photobucket is how the inside fab work looks that it goes into.

How mine was done. Boxed in the rear "frame rails" where the stock bumper bar bolted in, and ran a bar to each side. The chute is removable just like the one you showed

The chute should be attached/anchored no higher or lower than 2 inches of the top of the tire.

Chute does not have to be tied into the cage?

Here is something I found while I was looking for the same. Ended up fabing up something similar. I don't know the company or have ever purchased from them before.

Where do these specs come from? Most chutes sit up where you describe, but almost all that I see have their anchor points well below that.
