95 integra gsr air conditioning problems
hello guys, and thanks for taking your time to read this heres my situation
i just recently purchased a 1995 acura integra gsr with a 1998 acura integra b18b1 with very very low miles. The car and the motor drives/runs very well, but we are having troubles with the air conditioning, i am unsure of what the issue is here but it seems like the ls OBD2 ECU is not compatible with the GSR OBD1 ac system. This sounds like a rookie question but I've done everything to make this compressor kick on. The compressor is working i have tested it, and the system is charged to perfection.
why would everything else work but the Ac?
please help

Re: 95 integra gsr air conditioning problems
I will have to check at work, [Airwolfe Auto Air Conditioning] and get back to you.
Looking at the Haynes manual, 94-97 are the same and the 98 also looks almost the same, same color wires to/from ECU/ECM.
Compressor clutch relay is controlled by the ECU/ECM.
Have you tried jumping the the clutch relay?
Do you have A/C "request" at the relay, it is a ground from the ECU/ECM when A/C is on?
The relay 4 pin plug will have two 12V switched powers, [hot in run], one is power for the clutch coil the other is for the relays coil, ground for the relays coil is from the ECU/ECM. 94
