I`m not sure if this is the correct section to post this in or not so feel free to move it if need be .

I`ve been on the hunt for a Carbon fibre H Emblem for my Accord for a while now but have only found some really nasty Carbon Fibre effect ones , so i though i would have ago at making one myself out of real Carbon Fibre plus resin .

Thank mate, I took me a while to do but I'm very happy with the way it has turned out. I've just started a second one so I can build in some stainless steel studs so it can be bolted on using the original holes in the grill rather than using trim tape.

I've also made a Carbon Accord badge and type S badge to go with it .

D.O.A., most of these projects turn out looking really bad. Yours, on the other hand, looks great. Good work.

If you could figure out a way to mass produce them, you'd probably make a ton.

At the moment I could only make about three of these a week as it takes a fair amount of my time to finish them . In away it's not a bad thing as it makes them a bit more unique compared to being mass produced , it also makes it possible to finish them to someone's individual taste. I've never really done this sort of thing to make money due to it being a low volume type of thing but I have put one on eBay just to see how much interest it gets.

This is how the Accord and type S have turned out , i have done a red carbon S as pictured without the type lettering and a few in standard two twill Carbon with the type lettering in red.





I`ll have to try and take some better photos of these as soon as the weather gets better over here .

I'm not sure what the rules are on selling on here but if the mods and admin don't mind I would be more than happy to make a couple of them for members at a minimum cost.

I don't do this sort of thing to make money as I'm not a professional ( it's just a hobby of mine ).
