How do you remove the brake rotor on these POS TLs?
I have a 96 tl 2.5 that is rediculously over engineered to to the point of stupidity. I got all the bolts off the hub area but the rotor is sandwiched inbetween the spindle assembly arm and the hub. here is a pic. Is this rusted on or something? Just another way acura can stick it in your ***. Thank you.

Ok here is a couple videos i found on it.

The design is known as captive rotors and It is much more involved than your typical sensible design. I guess honda/acura did this so you would be more inclined to take it to the dealer to get new rotors. I don't see any performance benefit other than to make the weekend mechanics job that much more frustrating. Anyway, for the next guy hope this vid helps.

I replaced my Rotors on my 96 TL 2.5 with a Tool called GDT5. And you can get one on EBAY.This Tool Separates the Hub from the Rotor. Rotors are Easy to Replace with this Tool.
