Squeak in engine bay during accel/deccel and shift changes
2002 Acura RSX type s. Stock everything.
So I'll try to be specific, as I've been searching but I can't find anything.
When I either accelerate, or let off the pedal, it's like that moment when the engine disengages, and you start slowing down, there is a quick squeak. It also happens when shifting, since there is a break in the power delivery.
If I am in 1st or second and I just kind of tap the gas on off on off, it will squeak squeak squeak, constantly.
I assumed it was my engine mounts but no one else that changed them due to wear complained of a squeak, usually it's much louder than that.
Has anyone experienced a squeak that you can basically control with the gas pedal?
It isn't as prominent the faster you are going, and the higher gear you are in, I assume it's because the engine is shaking less. I don't hear it when going over large bumps so I assume it's not the suspension.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Squeak in engine bay during accel/deccel and shift changes
I have to the best of my ability. None of them look to be cracked but then again I'm not 100% sure what to look for.
From what I could see the rubber didn't look to be cracked on them.

Is it possible it might be your exhaust front pipe/ heat shield and hangers moving around when you are doing this? My 02 ep always did this, the heat shield on the front pipe is more or less falling off due to being so old and rusty the one on the manifold didn't look too nice either. It stopped after a while on its own, something must have broken off.
