Check fuses, relays etc. In order to access the motor you must remove the wiper arms and the plastic cowling just below the windshield on the outside of the car. You can unplug the wiper motor and check for power with them in the on position. If that's not the issue then you will need to inspect the switch

Is there a photo you could post of what I should be looking for...to be honest I have no clue what exactly I should look for all I know is that the windshield fluid is working and the wipers don't.

Can you hear the wiper motor working? I would pull the cowl and check the transmission, and if the transmission is intact test the motor, assuming the arms themselves aren't loose...but I don't see the odds of both loosening at the same time being very likely
