CRX Roll cage
Upgrading to a 10pt cage and wondering where the crx/ef guys put the bars through the dash with out annihilating the stock dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: CRX Roll cage
if the windshield is out take a torch and heat up a 3-4 foot piece of cage material and melt it through the dash you will be happy with the turn out cant get a tighter fit. if it were me i would take out the windshield if its not you will be more happy with the fit this way

Re: CRX Roll cage
No matter what your gonna have to cut your dash if you want it to go back on. Heres a couple pics of my passenger side on my crx. Dash still bolts up in all factory locations. My cage builder did it all with windshield still in and it didn't turn out too bad.

Re: CRX Roll cage
I ended up putting the dash in and then having the bar come through the vents. I didnt have to run a dash bar because in NHRA, as long as you dont modify the firewall, you dont need the dash bar
