She never wanted to cut the car so we tried different fuel. No secrets here but when u stumble across something that works u don't really wanna tell every one but at this point it doesn't matter.
This setup is one of those setups that everything is working great together. It's been together since 2011 and still is running strong. I don't lie about anything. If I was asked about it I would tell people because I don't care. Any questions please pm me. Ill answer any questions
Great numbers! Out of sheer curiousity have you guys tested out the skunk2 ultra manifold over the victors to see if any gains were there?

Nah. It's very hard to get her to wanna try new things but she getting slightly better than before so there is a possibility but no time soon. She just ordered 24.5 inch tires so let's see how that goes first......

Congrats on your time and new numbers. Im sure you will get 10s. And maybe with a intake manifold/tb change or camshaft change you go 10.5 or better.

Great numbers!

Question..
Would she run a lower ET with a 4.4FD?
I know a 4.7FD with 24.5 is the way to go, but I'm just wondering..

She was using 23s with a 4.7 so now we'll try 24.5s tomorrow at spring nationals. I think going to the 24.5s will help. I don't think lowering the final will but I could be wrong

Her motor peaks at 9400 so I wouldn't wanna make her finish the quarter at a lower rpm. U might pick up if u switch back to the 4.7

I know she won in her class, but the only thing I found not the greatest idea was to give it a hit on a bye run in the finals.

Can you shed some info on the fuel system?
What injector size and fuel line and fuel pump is she using?

using a walbro 255 high pressure with id1000 injectors and a -6 feed line. i dont think the pump can keep up so we're gonna do a fuel cell and a bosch 044 and -8 feed line. top of 4th gear the air fuel goes off the chart lean. datalog showed 17.6 airfuel from around 8400rpms in 4th gear

I asked the guys at t1 and they said that those injectors won't flow enough for 300whp on M5. that was with a bosch 044. I will try this myself sooner than later and will try to up the fuel pressure to see if the fuel system can keep up.
