hello fellow honda drivers,

i have an issue that just started when i drive for a while it drives normal but then coming to a red and then go it starts to accelerate so slow so i have to stop the car and turn off and then turn on the car then run normal for a while then does it again
i have a 94 honda accord lx 2.2 vtec sohc 5-speed
i do have a exhaust leak somewhere but i dont think it would be related to that but that's what one of my friends told me i don't know aha

but anyone please help
i tried googling it but no help

It's possible if the exhaust leak is before the oxygen sensor that the oxygen sensor is being killed off. You can first check for any codes. If none present, I would disconnect the oxygen sensor connector. It will throw a code for the oxygen sensor but that's ok at the moment because it will use predetermined values for the oxygen sensor. If the issues goes away the culprit is the oxygen sensor however I would fix the exhaust leak before replacing the oxygen sensor.
