John, she looks very clean! I like the mods you are doing and the direction this is going! So, when do we get to check it out in person? Sounds like a local meet is in order .

Whenever you guys are free!
Ok so update!
Was browsing craigslist today and a brand new set of usdm itr door panels still in the boxes popped up! got them for the price of one brand new one.
also the same guy gave me a crackhead price on brand new usdm itr rear seats!
he had a r brand new and took the seats out right away to replace with jdm ones. so these have sat in storage for over 10 years. mine were faded on the top. also the door panels he bought new as extras but he never used them.

Re: ITR 01-0031 Im back!
Big update. Where do i start!
Got alot more new parts in to freshen heR up!
Some new carbon pieces just to have because these are almost out of stock in the acura warehouse!
More new parts. Also got a comp stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel.
More new hardware installed and new tq mount and bracket
Got the windows tinted with 20%
Picked up 2 extra faux consol sets off ebay and a local craigslist one from a totaled R and one from a local guy with blank badge on the armrest.
Had a 3rd gear grind and diff bearings were shot so ordered the full synchrotech kit and had my good friend at Rameybuilt get my transmission right!
New clutch slave
The ends of my front bar were a little rusty so i freshened them up at work one day. i work in a bodyshop so its good to be able to have access to do painting.
I was annoyed by my rusty rotos and calipers so i decided why not buy brand new oem ones with the factory zinc coating!
Mine and the girls car. we raised her car up that day because she drives so for to work and didnt want to kill her oem si lip we just put on. Also her suspension sucks so we are about to install her new function form type 2 then lower it back down.
I bought a new usdm itr valvecover because i didnt like the jdm one. i bought that one new also but i took it off because im very ocd and like the usdm original one better. will use the jdm one on my daily when i get the turbo setup built for it.
spring is here!
Cleaned the bay from all the pollen and went back with all oem bay for now.
new ac and ps brackets and hardware
I have noticed this area gets the smallest amount of wetness after a few weeks of driving. No it isnt coming from anywhere on the side of the head. there is no oil trails. Im wondering if it is the corner of the hg leaking near the oil passage. like i said it never gets worse than this and never gets the block covered in oil. Anyone have this issue? I will do a hg in the next few months and take care of this issue.
Rain rain rain!
Then came anoter good ebay deal so i snagged it up super cheap. Also came with jdm faux cf window switches modified for usdm. I prolly wont use them but the extra console sets will bring good money in years to come when they are very hard to find.
Noticed my ac had nothing in it. so at work did a leak test on the ac machine and it came back no leaks. so i charged the ac up and a week later it still blows cold but lookie what we have here. time to evac it out and replace this oring! no biggie
Picked this up as a extra trans. Got a great deal from k20user on here and just above 1k is a steal for a brand new trans.
Car is going to get painted in the next few months after i complete the bodywork!

Re: ITR 01-0031 Im back!
Not much of a update. decided to go back to a oem flywheel. pressure plate, clutch disk on the itr. this ultra lightweight flywheel hos horrible noise when coasting in gear and read a lot of people have had tons of gear lash noise with different flywheels. im picky so oem it goes. ill install in a few weeks. also put oem raybrig new fogs in the si! Also noticed my ac wouldn't hold a charge and smelled like freon in my vents. noticed green under the ac drain on the garage floor after a ac recharge and found the evap was leaking so got a new oem one and new oem expansion valve and bam problem solved! also replaced all the o rings on the ac system while i was in it. Also bought a brand new faux driver vent because the guy at acura said it was the last one in the warehouses!

i was pretty good in my day parts hunting, but you take the cake brother. idk what u did to sweet talk a seller into giving up his new spoon clus for less than half the street value but thats awesome.
surprised u havent sourced a bnib oem kit yet...or did you already?

The seller bought a car not finished from a guy going out to sea. the seller didnt know really what he had and was just in it to make money rather than him have parts around he didnt care about.
