99 Civic LX Autotragic

I was thinking about this a few minutes ago. I know I'm going to do an auto to manual swap when I swap a B20, maybe sooner if the auto breaks.

But I was thinking, if the trans fluid has a cooler, (I haven't looked yet) would I be able to retrofit it to be used as an oil cooler? I dunno if this has been done, but I'd be down to be a Guinea pig when I have the B20 ready to swap and still have the D in it.

I'd use the D for testing it out, just in case of oil leaks.

On my civics, 92-95, there is an auto cooler. Except its a single pass built into the radiator. Personally, i think that's useless. Needs to be multiple passes. Only thing that's good for one pass would be power steering

The thermal dissipation on that system is too low to have any effect on engine oil. Tranny fluid needs very minimal heat management to stay in operable range, there's not that much friction in there.
