I resisted that idea. I have ebay sickspeed horns. easy to install, def louder than stock. and 25 bucks shipped. all kinds of color options.

I have a train horn I'm going to install in mine too! It's the horn blasters "jackass" kit. So awesome I had it in my EG hatch and my DA coupe.

now change of subject, what is everyone's gas mileage / km's to a tank and how much do you spend on fill up and are you city or highway driving

I spend $60 to fill (no matter the gas price)

I drive 98%city and 2% highway

if I drive highway I can reach 350kms, all city I'm 300kms

I'm almost thinking of putting my stock wheels and tires back on for the summer

so i sold this above ^^ crv like a year and a bit ago partially traded it for a 03 silverado z71 was a great truck had no problems with it and just upgraded from that too a 2006 silverado 2500hd 6.6l duramax 2 months ago pushing 400rwhp and 845 torque...yeah its quick for a 8000lb truck

i don't regret any of these decisions but i do have to say i completely miss my little crv it was cheap and a great vehicle and any one who think of selling their don't do it just keep it because it saves you money and will last

Was talking to a couple people and mentioned I want to lift my CRV and they all say "DON'T DO IT!" saying I will wear out my other suspension components (ball joints etc.) very quickly.

For those of you with a lift, has it increased your repair bills significantly? Any obvious pitfalls I should be aware of going in? Was all gung-ho but a little hesitant now.

all depends they could be worn out to begin with and then ppl lift it has nothing to do with the lift itself. Im fine going on a year now but I am going the stance route so my setup is for sale≤----

Has anybody who put cragar soft 8's with a +13mm offset had any bearing problems due to the fact that the wheels center has been moved outwards? Thanks

Plenty of people have steels with 0 through +15 offset and no issues.

Trailing arm bushings, axles, and all other bushings were really strained when I lifted my CR-V.

It's a life choice really doesn't affect anyone but me and my wallet. Wishing it to go away? Lol it's like me saying I hope lifting anything goes away people doing diff things to diff cars, trucks, street bikes etc is never going away be diff be unique who gives a **** about what the guy next to you thinks.

I lifted my crv and loved it I'm just bored now with it.It will get stanced because I choose to go that route and will not be a daily anymore..

Have any of you had to shave your rear fender trim pieces? I just lifted my CRV with a set of new struts and OME springs. Wearing 235/75/15 tires and very little clearance in the rear.

yes, you will have to trim the rears a bit. The fronts I used a BFH and had at it

Those silver wheels are sweet.
Got a bit of sag going on though.

And didn't have to trim anything in the back as the wheel travels up and backwards when the spring compresses. While there is very little clearance, everything should be ok. I had 6 people in the car and did not have issues.
I did trim the front though. Depending on the wheel offset, you'll be rubbing quite a bit in the turns.
