Jshadsi, I dont know about a 225 with that wheels size and offset but I know you can pull off 225s on an ej/em1 my buddy runs a 15x7+41 with a 225 only has fenders rolled and only rubs slightly on the inside on tight turns, but with that offset your talking a out your probably going to have to run something smaller like a 195 or 205 if you don't mind rolling your fenders should work but rolling had its drawbacks, would also reccomend better tires than those khumos if you want to get that power to the ground, have heard they arn't that great, azenis are one great option;-) I dd mine and love em too death
Also I would recommend putting the wider wheel in the rear it will look better and haveing the wider wheel won't give you any performance benefit if your ruining the same tire size

PINKFIFFTY - Hmoobvwj, read through this thread
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...238&styleid=18
I think typically they recommend about 500lb front 350lb rear if you want to be pretty low, some say a little stiffer but I don't think you can go over 600lb without revalving the konis, you also can go a little softer but you don't want to go too soft if slamming and have issues with bottoming out

Yeah I've trying to gain as much information and private message everyone I see with the same set up. I am probably going to go 550F/450 OR 500R OR 500F/500,450,400R. I am still trying to decided.

Ya I plan on rolling and pulling the fenders as much as possible I have an eastwood roller i used to roll the fenders on my Evo 8.

I think I'm going to go with a 215/45 Falken azenis on all four corners, It just sucks that there is only a couple options for tires in that size.

The car isnt going to be lowered to much, I'm not going for stance I want the car to be functional and corner hard!

Ive though about doing 205/45/16 with some Toyo R1R's but I'm dont know. I cant find anyone thats running a meaty aggressive setup like this on an em1 without -3 degrees of camber or more. Everyone runs a streched slammed setup...

Id like to run 225/45 up front cause I have a great tire selection, but I'm worried that a 16x8.5 +24 is going to poke with tires that size, I already know I'm going to prolly have to run about -2.5 for camber which is fine

hmoobvwj, 500lb in the rear is really stiff would definitely be uncomfortable for cruizing around town maybe a track car that you occadionaly drive but definitely not something you drive all the time, definitely read through that thread I posted has a lot of good info about choosing good spring rates

Jshadsi, since you are planning on pulling your fenders that definitely makes things easier. I agree that the Azenis or Toyo r1r sound like a great tire choice. The main issue with the tires fitting is the offset if you had 16x8+30 or +40 it wouldnt be such an issue. You can do the fended roll+pull before ordering tires and test fit the wheel and see how everything lines up and if you think the 215s will clear order 2 have them put on and find out a definite and if it doesnt quite fit you can give your fenders a little extra pull or you can take tires back off and put them on the 8.5" in the rear and order some 205s for the front or if all goes well order 2 more 215s for the rear. What are your plans for the car are you gonna be doing alot of tracking or just haveing something fun to drive and looking good doing it?

The car is mainly my daily driver but I will be using it for autox, and going to the track from time to time. Right now the car is riding on Blistein struts with tein springs but i plan to get sk2 sleeves but i wont be going much lower I would like the tires to be just even with the fenders (no tuck)

Camber specs: Natural f/-1.8 and Ingalls rear camber kit r/-2.9

Additional comments about your setup: I have to camber more of the rear, currently rubbing on passenger rear coilovers. I could run a little softer in the rear dampening to make it a smoother ride.

Should 15x8 +15 wheels fit my ej8 with 225/60R15 tires?.. Or would a 195/55 fit better? Also, what exactly does HPO mean? Some wheels I'm looking at say 15x8, offset: HPO, but then in another spot it says "These wheels come in a 15x8 +25 ET for the hellaflush look".... So my last question... What is ET? Sorry I know like nothing about wheel specs.... I just dont wanna blow 1000 bucks and the wheels not even fit...

Wheels: Konig Wideopen
Specs (i.e. size, width, offsets): 15x8 et20
Tire specs: 165/55 Federal Evo595
Suspension setup: Koni SP3 / Ground Control Koni Sleeves / Stance 2.5 ID coilover springs 12k front 8k rear. 2" extended top hats front and rear. Cut shock towers. Prothane Poly bushings everywhere.
Camber specs: Natural- front 4.8 rear- 3.6
Jack Point Measurement (from ground): 1.5 inches
Additional comments about your setup: Upper control arm has no more travel. Need to fab up some drop spindles to fix this issue. Going with some drop forks as well for more shock travel. Moving to 16k front and 12k rear springs after the winter. Needs to be stiffer at this height.
Overall rating of your setup (1-10): 8. Needs more stiff. Needs more low. Needs more wide. Going 15x10 et-25 after winter These are the only decent pictures I have right now.

This is a fancy way of saying "I'm running factory control arms"

On my DB2, my "natural" camber after alignment at my ride height was approx -5 on all four corners. Rode on that set up for over a year with no abnormal tire wear whatsoever. Switched up wheels and tires recently, and I'll be going back in for another shortly.
