damn my response is mad late i don't frequent honda-tech much i think i was in your thread on ephatch also, but i was making 300 at 10psi, tuned conservatively, meaning the midrange wasnt as aggressive and it was very smooth. another member, 04ephatch, makes 330whp on 12psi, and his car has been taking a beating since i met him back in 09 or even before that, car was motor made 161whp, then made 272whp with a supercharger then made 297whp on 10psi, then retuned with bigger IC, and 12psi for the 330. i'm not knocking your setup at all brotha, in fact one of the members local to me has a turbo k24a1 making 350whp and i always get on him about it just to **** with him, i think you would be more than safe taking it up some more with the stock motor, its done and proven, and once your tune is on point man you have nothing to worry about.

Enjoyed reading your build. Makes me think about mine. I have a 99 EM1, pulled the b16 out and swapped in a k24a2. Was debating for a while on going turbo, supercharger or all motor. Currently I'm just staying all motor. Will be purchasing new cams, rods, intake manifold.

in an older chassis i guess it's all depending on your ultimate goals but for a street car i think it has more desire to keep it NA, esp with a 2.4, they prove to be plenty fun esp if you get em around the 250whp mark.

**** man... Car still running like a champ. I happy with 330 whp at 10.8psi for now. Im about to rebuild another k24a2 with pistons and rods, cnc ported head and some cams. Then 20 psi should be even happier. Im glad everyone has enjoyed my thread. I might not have the highest horsepowered k24, But when I do Ill be ready for 1000whp supras.Im actually trying to keep the k24 in there now in good shape to be sleeved and put into an ef hatch. Untill then Ill stick with my daily and build it up to 500 or 600 whp. Cause money talks and bullshit walks...

yeah man i feel that... well here is what my tuner did with my friends i was talking about, the supercharged one is a k24a2 with a CTE blower and the turbo one is a K24a1 on 12psi. making 300whp and 336whp.

and heres the dyno vid for the black car.. the numbers are lower because this is a mainline dyno but when you do the calculations for where it reads it tells you where the numbers are.

Just so I am reading everything correctly, the RRC mani bolts up no problem? Any other manifolds just bolt up?

Yeah it bolts right up to the Tsx head. The ports inside the Tsx head are different though. The RRC intake manifold comes on the RSP heads off the 2007 and up Civic Type R's. These heads come with a factory port and polish, and have larger ports then the Tsx head. Im actually changing out my Tsx head because they don't flow as good as others.

Just fyi CRV heads flow better than Tsx heads. The first video doesn't work. Second video works, and I like xenocron they are good for sure.

Rsx type S intake port (on top) compared to Tsx intake port (On bottom)...

Crv heads are similar to Rsx Type s heads minus the 3 lobe cam system.

I've been very curious about this subject myself lately. Considering that there is both the 04-05 and the the 06-08 versions, vs a stock rsx-s head, i really wonder how muc difference in HP there is between them, expecially the 06-08 tsx head with the 1mm lager valves...and if it acutally indeed with switching over if a person had both heads (which i do!)

It really changes the powerband. The tsx head was designed for low end torque. The rsx head was designed for high rpm . The air moving through the tsx head is moving faster , but the rsx head has more volume.

time is a factor im very worried that things are going bad with my swap i really hope we get to talk soon.. my swap is being done in jax on the same side of town as you i believe but anyway please call me it would take way to long to type lol...

Hello everyone,

Im hoping to have a update soon... I recently have had some uneventful things pop up, and the holidays. Hopefully everyone had some good holidays! I purchase the Karcepts ac/ps delete kit for my engine. Next, I'll be getting a new 130amp altenator and excessive intake manifold soon. My current engine is still running strong on 10.8 psi, minus the cheap ebay clutch I have, it sucks.
