New battery for 2009 Jazz
My Jazz has done 197,600km and the battery died over the weekend. It was Ok on saturday but Sunday when I tried to start it it was dead. I have some posts on the internet regarding ECU issues when replacing batteries. Can anyone offer some advice please? Does the ECU need to be re-set after battery disconnection? If so, it seems a bit daft!

No there is nothing for you to do to the ECM it will re-program itself just by driving. You will need to reset your radio code and the drivers master window switch so it closes or opens with one touch.
Easy to do just run the window all the way down and hold the switch down for about 5 seconds after it reaches the bottom. Then run it all the way up and hold the front of the switch up for 5 seconds after it has closed all the way.
