Hows the weather out there for you guys??
I am driving to NYC, and on my way home I am going to stop by Yellowstone.
How is the weather out there right now??
Or is everything snowed out?

little bit of snow at the highest elevations, in the smallest parts of the ditches in the shade. Plenty dry and getting warm. Roads are fine, etc. Look out for deer.

Tips on how to avoid the deer? Do they just pop out? Also, they cross the road at night and during the day??

Drive with your high beams on - in the middle of the two lanes on the interstate (so you've got as much room to go either way). I put on between 6-7000 miles per month between MT, ND, and WY and have only hit one deer in 4 years... and it was broad daylight (I was passing a semi). Granted I was in my truck, if in my car it would have been F*cked. Typically right at sunrise and sunset are when deer are moving the most. They are nocturnal so they are more commonly seen at night (although you do see them during the day too), but they usually are feeding/moving from bedding areas to fields during the worst times of day (early morning, late evening). Just pay attention is all I can say. They aren't out too thick yet, as theyre not in rut so the bucks aren't chasing does right now.

RACE REPORT for the 406.
Well we got 275 miles out of the Z6 before it let go at the CHUMPCAR race in the 16 hour Spokane event. 8am to midnight. Spent the afternoon pulling 2 engines and swapping transmissions and getting it back on track. Laying on busted asphalt with less than acceptable tools, we GOT IT BACK ON TRACK, and put in another 5 hours. to finish 20th out 24 teams. Considering we were off track for 6 hours, that ain't to bad. the Great falls team ran continuously and I think they ended up in 9th.
Was fun, and as seat time goes, was a good value. When was the last time you spent 2 hours in traffic circulating a track? Was awesome.
We'll do it again. Was kind of like a racing vacation. Good time.
had complete in car, helmet and pit radio system. Worked very well.

Had to pull the tank, MAJOR fuel leakage, utterly dangerous and unsafe, had to fix that too. *ugh* Turns out, at some point, just before I bought the car, the kid that had it put a sub and an amp in the back. Long story short, he drilled a big mounting hole in the trunk and through the fuel tank. When the screw was in it, no leaks. when he pulled it, guess what, was ready to leak, we just hadn't driven it yet. Car was full of puddles of fuel when we came in after the engine blew. Was just blowing it into the cockpit. Scary stuff.
Pulling both engines, basically in a parking lot... From the Red hatch, and putting that one in the Coupe. blew something in the Coupe, big hole in the pan.

We ended up with 243 laps with a fast time of 1:52.2
That's 560 miles of racing on a 2.3 mile track. That's a good time, I don't care who you are.
we had 4 drivers and took turns at the wheel. Randon, just coming off the track at midnight, WE FINISHED!!!!
