Purchased this about 6 Years or so and not sure what kit it is. All I can say for sure is its the biggest kit they made for a CRX.

I hate to sound like a ninny about this, but.... are you looking for a "stage" number or what size the turbo comes with it? I mean.. At this point does it matter? or are you trying to sell it? If attempting to sell, unfortunately, knowing the "stage" won't change anything as that is dependent upon the turbocharger. Most people will attempt to purchase it in pieces, so the "stage" number is rather moot.

It looks very nice (it appears to have a PWR intercooler, TiAL BOV, back door setup)

Im looking to know what the turbo size is. Yes the post was for the Stage and Type Like Pro AM or what ever. If someone knew that then I was going to Call Full-Race. Im wanting to upgrade the Turbo and keep the manifold but not sure what turbo size I have now and what will fit the manifold.

Your issue with that, however, is the fact that there wasn't one particular turbo that was in any stage; there were several. A purchaser could easily swap out what was in the kit for another option, and full-race would have no way of remembering what it was switched out for, even if you were the original owner.

Your best bet is to contact the owner to find out what turbocharger he has in this kit. If he wants to sell the kit, these items have to be removed anyway in order to determine their parts. Calling Full-Race will not gain you anything, and several kits used the T04S compressor cover. From the GT35R, the T3/T67, the 61mm journal bearing, or even the 60-1 turbocharger.

there's just no way of knowing unless you contact the owner and get viable pictures and measurements of the wheels. Or, worse case, purchase the kit minus the turbocharger itself, and put your own on there as a substitution.

Well then why didn't you say that? That looks to be a T04S comp housing. I'd guess 60-1 or 35R comp wheel. What numbers are on the exhaust housing? Measure the size of the flange, that might be a T4 flange

Because I'm not the one buying it. I was only pointing out the issues he may encounter. One still needs to know what exhaust wheel is on the other end of that, and the A/R doesn't necessarily give all the clues to the answer of that question.

Knowing full race, however, they always did put turbos that were too large for the need on their kits (so that the customer doesn't get disappointed in the amount of peak power the car makes), so from that experience, its save to say that its a Stage 5 or slightly larger exhaust wheel in a .82A/R, unless it is a 60-1, in which they just use the box unit with the smaller stage 3 wheel in the same "too big" .82A/R. The compressor wheel could be any number of possibilities... this is assuming, however, that the flange is T3, like most of their older kits were. Very few of this design were T4, but you're right, OP needs to figure that out.

Either way, OP should contact the original seller

This is my kit and my car. This is also the very first Turbo kit aI have ever owned. From what I can figure out its a T4 Flange and a T67 Turbo but not sure of the .AR. I want to upgrade the turbo for something large with more HP. Right now the cars making 750 at 31 PSI would liketo see some more power around 850 and quicker spool and some and lmid to low 9 passes.

Well, I'm sorry, but its now clear what you need to do. Or find your old invoice. At some point YOU must show some culpability here.

Good luck to you, but only you can figure out the information you need.

Pull the turbo off and the A/R will be stamped somewhere on the volute. If you're making 750 at 31psi that's likely a .81 or .96 A/R tang housing.

You're going to be hard pressed to fit something bigger than a TO4S/H housing on there. But you're in luck, Precision makes a PT7675 with a TO4H compressor housing and a .96 A/R tang T4 hot side that should drop right in, except for needing a new downpipe.

A PT6766 or PT6768 might be more appropriate for a car that you're not trying to make 1100whp on methanol with.

Yes this is what i was looking for. What do you guys think about the 6766 Precision Turbo with a.68 or.81 A/R?

I think if you're shooting for 850whp on gas you should run at least the .81 but probably the .96

A 900whp capable turbo is not really going to be very streetable, so you should take the biggest exhaust housing to maximize it's effectiveness at the strip.

Didnt real all the post but Looks like the old prostreet t4/t67 kit...

The new pte 6466 would be perfect for a street/track car making good number or the pte 6768 for track and bigger numbers

hey whats up - if this is a track only build, i suggest a big S300SX 9180 its a simple bolt on upgrade that would work very well. great value for the $. im not a fan of precisions, but thats just me.

it could also be worth considering a swap to our twinscroll bottom mount manifold and using a divided housing in the future. post up with more questions, i dont get the hostility from some people

Ok the A/R is .81, my next question is the diameter of the new turbo will it fit. Not sure what the diameter of the precisions turbos is. Geoff what is the power rating on these turbo S300SX, 9180 I looked at the S300SX it says from 500-600 looking more for 850-950.

This is a guessing game until you start measuring. A lot of people going for the 800+ mark at that point change their setups ENTIRELY for a new high level, drag-racing only type of power like you're asking. You can go either Turbonetics, Precision, or Garrett for their larger turbochargers, in a T4 .81A/R, all the way up to 76mm in a T04S for a Garrett, or T04H for a Precision (which may not fit your current setup the way it is oriented.

For once, I'm with Geoff on this, I'd stay Garrett and go with the a much larger turbocharger in the 70mm or 76mm (depending upon your class rules), and use the same T4 .81A/R or .91A/R housing. You'll need to completely substitute turbos, but I like those better than the Precision option (as a matter of personal opinion only).

The s300sx 9180 is rated @ 550whp- 830whp. Plenty of power. Or do like geoff said and go with a bottom mount twin scroll and then you can go with the s400-67 & meet your power goals
