Default P1336 RELATED TO P1259 PROBLEM?????

i have a obd2 97 b18c1 that has a P1336 (crank position sensor) CEL. I recently got the P1259 (vtech pressure switch) CEL. I will check the connection for the crank sensor this weekend but it was just wondering if it would cause the vtech malfunction? Oil level is good. Connection to the switch looks good. It wont go past 4800 to 5000 rpm when the cars been running for a while but as soon as i turn it off and turn it back on the car runs fine.

If you fix the former and the latter goes away you'll have your answer.

I also have the the P1336 and P1259 codes for my 1997 Civic along with the following codes:

P1337 Engine Speed (RPM) Fluctuation Sensor No Signal
P0325 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)

I already know that the VTEC solenoid is leaking and replacing the gasket which seals it's attachment to the head did not fix that problem. I am wondering if any of these are related to the same problem.

Any ideas or advice?
