That's way too much boost for high compressin, you would need the worlds best tune, E85 and methanol injection,

Search user mar778c, he made the power you want and more on pump gas and 11.8:1 compression.

9.5:1-10:1 compression is fine for boost and 93-94 pump gas if you have a good tune

The compression does not change how much power you block can handle. You'll really be fine with even 11:1 as long as you don't over power the components

10.0:1 is fine, I thought you were talking about like 12/13:1 comp ratio.

Look into methanol injection though. You can make it yourself with windsheild washer fluid and Kleen (or other products).

I would start out at 10-12psi (depending on the turbo), with a good tune.

Lol you don't want to run high psi with high compression because of pre-ignition/detonation, diesels run off of pre-ignition.

And yet no one here talks about boost pressure with a particular turbocharger? What good is giving your brother's-sister's-cousin's-former-roomate's boost pressure without the specific turbocharger mentioned, nor the setup or use needed?

It all depends on what you use.....

the next person that starts listing boost pressure and no other information on their setup, I'm comin' through the screen and throwin' 'em a beatin'!!

15lbs on a ebay turbo and 15lbs on a gt42r are not the same thing.....people need to understand this...

I mentioned it, two posts above yours, I put "10-12psi (depending on the turbo)"

You're still stating a general BOOST PRESSURE LEVEL, without giving a mention to what size CFM airflow rate. You can't start at 10-12 of anything without knowing what the hell he's got. You can't assume that people know there's a proper RANGE of airflow rates that you can even give that 10-12 psi for.. You have to be more specific if you're going to advise anyone what they should or shouldn't use. Otherwise, its just like throwing out.. "GT30R" and not saying anything else, like many of the others do on here.

Be specific, (or at least reasonably specific about your statement), or at the very least say "from what I've experienced", or say nothing..
