Honda CR-V (2007-...) AC / Heater fan making noise.
I would like to begin by saying that English is not my first language, so I hope you can bare with me. Also, pay in mind that I am a complete layman when it comes to cars.
Anyway, I have always driven Hondas. Currently I own a Honda CR-V (2007-... model). For the past year or so, I have had problems with its heating system. Whenever I turn the heater on (which I do a lot, living in a cold climate), it starts making strange squealing / whining noise. The noise seems to change as I change the speed of the fan. It has come to the point where it is annoying even when the radio is on. I am curious, can anyone here help me with my problem? Perhaps there is something I can do about it without having to pay hundreds of dollars to have it repaired? Everything works well as far as it comes to functionality, but the noise is just annoying and makes me feel down - as if I am driving a broken car.
